Not always there is a villain in films who inspires us. This post may attract a lot of hate so did Thanos. I am sure you have seen Avengers – Infinity War if you are not living under the rock. For about 10 years we have seen our heroes, Avengers defeat & conquer the antagonists in Marvel’s movies but this time they all bit the dust.
The film was amazing in a lot of ways and as soon as I saw The Hulk take the beating from the mad titan himself, I knew that something big was coming. After watching this film many many times now, I can say that we have a lot to learn from Thanos also. I am listing 5 of many.
#1: Leadership Skills
From the first scene, Thanos was seen conquering Asgardians on their spaceship which Loki stole at the end of Thor-Ragnarok.
He killed almost everyone, but when Hulk tried to take him by surprise, he performed (fought) like a leader. One of his children was heard saying “let him have his fun“.
#2: He was focussed
Gamora, daughter of Thanos said in the film that all this time he had just one dream, to wipe out half of the population. As per the script, Infinity War events took place within 2 days.
Thanos did not unnecessarily go to random places but he planned his things. After getting second infinity stone on Asgardian ship, he sent his children to earth to get 2 stones and he himself went to “Knowhere”, to stone-keeper to get another stone.
#3: He did not waste his energy
There were many incidents where he did not kill the Avengers after he got the stone. He spared Thor, Stark & other members on Titan planet after he got the stone.
He knew that his purpose is bigger than all these people and he had no other purpose. If wanted, he could have killed Thor, Stark, Dr. Strange but he did not. Instead, he moved to the next stone once he got the desired infinity stone.
#4: He cared about nature
Why Thanos snapped & wiped half of the population? He was seen explaining this to his daughter Gamora, that this world has finite resources, finite space but
He had to take a step to make sure the resources are enough for the people. Hence, he thought to wipe out half of the population. This
#5: He kept his emotions away from business
Though Gamora was not his real daughter & he loved her. He adopted Gamora when she was a 7 years old kid. But when Thanos has to sacrifice Gamora to get the soul stone, he did not hesitate.
He was in tears and it was visible that he was in pain but his purpose was above all.
I am sure my views may not match yours but this is my tribute to Thanos. I know that you also can not wait for Avengers Endgame. let’s talk in comments and let me know what you think.
